Nothing is charged until a view is verified. Stop at any time and the rest of the budget returns to you.
How a campaign runs
1. Fund
Add $5 or more by card. Funds become your Promote balance.
2. Create
Upload an image and optionally a video, write a headline, set the price, length and limits.
3. Review
A person reads every campaign before it runs, and again whenever you change what viewers see.
4. Deliver
Viewers watch. Each verified view is paid from your budget, with live counts in your dashboard.
Controls that protect your budget
- Per-viewer frequency cap so one person cannot drain a campaign (default 3 views a day, up to 10).
- Daily view cap and country targeting to pace spend and keep it where you can serve customers.
- Optional sponsored-visit bonus you fund from the same budget. It is labelled to viewers as a sponsored visit and paid once per view when they open your link.
- No self-dealing. Your own account never sees your ads, and accounts sharing your network address are excluded.
- Reversals refund you. If a view is later found invalid, the money goes back into your campaign.
What Promote does not do
Promote does not pay anyone to like, comment, follow, subscribe or repost on TikTok, YouTube, Instagram or anywhere else. Buying engagement is fake engagement: those platforms remove it and penalise the accounts that buy it, and consumer-protection rules (including the US FTC’s rule on fake social-media indicators and EU unfair-practices law) prohibit it.
