No, and we will not pretend it is. Advertisers pay for real, attentive people, so every ad needs this tab in view and one quick confirmation that you are present. Continuous mode lines up the next ad for you, but it never removes that check. Anything that did would be invalid traffic: the ad networks would refuse to pay for it and ban the account.

It depends on your country, the ads available and how much time you give it. An ad view typically pays a fraction of a cent to a few cents. Most people earn a few dollars a month from casual use, not a salary. We show the exact amount after every single view so you can judge for yourself.

A flat 1% of what the advertiser pays. It is a constant in the code, not a setting, and no app or promotion can change it. If you use Centhead inside another app, that app keeps a percentage of the payout that its owner chose (anywhere from 0% to 99%) and you see it before every ad. You receive everything that remains.

Ad and offer networks can reverse a payout after the fact, for example when they detect invalid traffic. Ad earnings stay pending for 45 seconds and offer or survey earnings for 60 seconds, so a reversal is settled before the money becomes withdrawable. If a payout is reversed, the matching earnings are reversed too, itemised in your wallet.

Withdrawals are sent through Stripe Connect. The first time, Stripe verifies your identity and collects your bank details and tax information. Centhead never sees or stores them. You can withdraw once your available balance reaches the minimum.

Passwords are hashed with scrypt, accounts support authenticator-app two-step verification, sessions can be reviewed and revoked, and the money ledger is append-only so history cannot be edited. We keep only the data we need, never sell it, and you can export or delete your data from Settings.

A mobile app is planned and the API is already versioned for it. App stores do not allow on-device mining, so the mobile app will focus on ads, offers and referrals. The compute option is for the desktop app only.

In the Windows desktop app you can opt in to run an open-source Monero (RandomX) miner while your computer is idle. The app downloads the miner from its official release page and checks it against a fingerprint built into the app, runs it at the processor level you choose, and pauses on battery or while you are using the computer if you ask it to. Proceeds go from the mining pool directly to the wallet you enter; Centhead never holds them. Centhead’s only share is 1% of mining time, shown in the app. A typical home processor earns well under a dollar a month and often less than the electricity costs, so the app includes a calculator. Antivirus tools often flag miners; Centhead never tries to evade them. Compute is never available inside embedded apps or on phones.

Advertisers pay for people who actually saw their ad. Ad networks run automated checks and refuse to pay for views that look automated, and they can ban accounts that send them. The presence check is what lets us keep paying you.

The usual reasons are leaving the tab, not confirming presence in time, or a connection drop. The message after the ad says which one applied. Repeated invalid views pause ads on an account for a short time and may trigger a review.

The matching earnings are reversed, itemised in your wallet. Because earnings are held before they become withdrawable, this normally happens while the money is still pending.
